Enriching Your Relationship with Yourself and Others
The Enriching your Relationship with Yourself and Others program is a psycho-educational training program, certified by the Virginia Satir Global Network. It was created by Sharon Loeschen and Margarita M. Suarez, two students of Virginia Satir.
It is based on the meticulous observation and profound understanding of what Virginia Satir did during the therapeutic interventions with clients and families.
They broke down the therapeutic process of Virginia Satir in the following six steps so that it is easier to understand and learn:
– Making Contact
– Validation
– Becoming Aware
– Opening to greater Understanding and Acceptance
– Making conscious changes
– Seeking and giving Support
Since 2005 the program has formed part of the training options of the Virginia Satir Global Network.
Since that time I started studying the program with Sharon and Margarita and in 2014 I became one of the first certified Master Trainers around the world.
I translated the book that accompanies the program (The Satir Process by Sharon Loeschen) into German.
